The IM&M+ program is guided by a set of fundamental beliefs and values. Those who choose to facilitate the program must, at their core, believe whole-heartedly in the following guiding principles.
Before going anywhere else, download and review the IM&M+ Step-by-Step Delivery Guide. It is a checklist to help you prepare to deliver IM&M+. This is a must-have and ensures that the CCDF IM&M+ Team can help you along the way.
*NOTE*: This process is for general deliveries of IM&M + by licensed sites and is not meant for cohorts within an evaluation project (i.e. YESS & Replicate Project)
The Recruitment Strategies Guide was developed to support you in creating a recruitment plan. It includes a suggested timeline for recruitment activities, best-practice recruitment approaches and outreach materials. Once you have completed you recruitment, please complete the Cohort Reporting Form.
The IM&M+ Marketing Materials were created to help you promote your program deliveries. This package includes links to branded posters, postcards, social media posts, and reels that can be customized with your site’s contact information and delivery dates. These ready-to-use tools make it easy to share clear, consistent, and professional information about IM&M+ with participants and partners.
Ensuring that IM&M+ is a fit for each participant is critical to your and their success. The Screening Guide examines considerations for IM&M+’s program criteria and has suggested strategies for working with each person to ensure that they feel that IM&M+ is a fit for them. It also helps to identify needed wrap-around supports. It was developed from input from experienced IM&M+ Facilitators based on strategies they’ve used in their recruitment.
Before doing participant intakes, please take a moment to watch a video of IM&M+ facilitators talking about how they use the screening guide. The guide can also be sent to referring agencies to support them in making referrals.
Once you have completed your recruiting, you must let CCDF know about your delivery details. The Cohort Reporting Form alerts CCDF to the start of a new cohort, the number of participants and your module dates. This is a mandatory element of reporting for all Licensed sites.
There is a facilitator guide for each module. They include the instructions for delivery including material lists and activity alternatives. Most facilitators print these and keep them in a binder so that they can make delivery notes in the guides. There is instruction for delivering in all modalities and links to copyable templates to support online and hybrid delivery are in each module and we have created an all-in-one Virtual Delivery Templates Links so you can copy this file to a Google folder to set you up for ease of delivery.
The Participant Workbooks are printed by the organization for the participants in all delivery formats. There are also fillable digital workbooks. This version of the workbooks works well for participants who may use accessibility tools such as a screen reader or who need to enlarge the font for impaired vision. *Note: There is no Participant Workbook for Momentum+, however, you can provide your participants with a folder or binder where they can make notes and collect any materials from the workshops for Momentum+.
Each module has a PowerPoint. Use of the PowerPoints are optional. They are mostly used for online delivery but can be used across any modality.
The Power Box is a key activity that cuts across all modules. For virtual deliveries, we have created a kit to help facilitators supplement power boxes for their participants. Start with the READ ME instruction file to help you download and use the kit.
It is customary to issue completion certificates to participants when finishing the In Motion and Momentum modules and final certificate for full program completion.
On your last day of delivery before your graduation, take time during session to have participants complete their Participant Evaluation Form.
Facilitators must complete the Post-Delivery Reporting Form. This form reports on your group numbers and your overall experience with the group.
